Day 1531 - Warlords of Draenor Beta Day 120

I spend the day finishing up the candy bucket for my main character, Paladin Dianora.  Even after all that work, I'm still 78 candy short for the Liche King custom.  Oh well, I got another week to do dailies and Headless Horseman to make up for that differences.

I also tank Siege Raid from Blackfuse all the way to Garrosh.  This time, I did finish the final boss of the expansion on my chosen specialization, Protection.  I got an universal tier 16 token that I use to upgrade my DPS leg.  One more piece to go.

Day 1530 - Warlords of Draenor Beta Day 119

Blizzard had an issue with instance transfer.  I only managed to get my druid into a Garrosh encounter, and got her an tanking trinket.  The rest of my toon was not so lucky.  So I spend the rest of the night collecting candies for the holiday event.  Turns out there is a mod that would've make this a whole lot easier.  So I should be able to buy that Arthas custom soonish.

Day 1529 - Warlords of Draenor Beta Day 118

I gave myself another shot at zero light Yogg encounter at Ulduar.  Still haven't gotten the mechanics down.  I mean, I have the dps, just not the method of actually finishing the encounter.  Just for fun, I ran both the paladin and death knight through Icecrown Citadel 25 man (this time).  I've heard that the stat squish from last week's pre-expansion patch made the loot ship the hardest and the longest fight of the instance.  Nope, I managed to down the ship at least in the 25 man normal before they even launch their boarder.  The rest of the instance just takes a bit longer in 25 man versus 10 man.  Some of the pieces dropped for my Death Knight that can make her appears to be a ICC geared paladin, so I'm currently gathering pieces and material to do just that.  Shouldn't be too long.

I was wrong, I still have my Death Knight's tanking set to be regemmed.  That cost me another 1k of gold.  But the biggest ticket item for me for the night is the Rogue epic quest from the last expansion.  That's an 10k up front fee.  And I have to kill my way to the 4th boss, just to pickpocket an decoder ring out of her.  I leave her alone, since I have to finish the rest of the quest before coming back to this raid instance.  I figure by the time I got all of that sorted out, I'll have figured out the mechanics of the Spine of Deathwing.

Day 1528 - Warlords of Draenor Beta Day 117

After the raid week reset, I took a good number of characters through Fireland.  3 of the character that had enjoyed the brief super-nerfed old raid now found themselves at a distinct disadvantage.  My mage actually had problem with some of the bosses, and next to the last boss always leaves all of my toon with less than half health.  Still, the druid did not get her flame kitty staff, though others did.

I'm probably done with the regemming, so my spending should slow down by a bit.  I still need to run my paladin through all of the different inn to get the candy to buy liche king custom.  Perhaps the death knight should get one as well.

Day 1527 - Warlords of Draenor Beta Day 116

I got the remaining 4 characters their heirloom weapon from Garrosh.  Unfortunately for me, the monk got an one handed agility axe, and not the agility staff that both she and the druid could use.  Oh well, I'll survive.

After doing that and re-gemming and re-enchanting a lot of my toons, I gave Spine of Deathwing a couple of more try before throwing in the towel and doing something more constructive.  I clear Icecrown Citadel in good time, good enough for me to go on to Ulduar.  It was interesting.  Unfortunately, I didn't do the quest there correctly, and it'll be next week before I can get to the bonus boss fight encounter.  I also gave the Alone in the Dark a couple of tries before calling it a night.

In all, a very constructive week.  On the next raid week, Fireland will be a priority, since I knows the encounters there quit well, and I actually like the look and feel of the place.

Finally, I got to get on my druid again and check her inscription.  There are some interesting glyph that I'm missing that I need for a lot of my toons.

Day 1526 - Warlords of Draenor Beta Day 115

While doing the Halloween dailies, I also queue up my character to just do the final boss of this expansion.  Since Blizzard imposed a buff to guarantee drop of the weapon, there's no reason why I shouldn't get mine.  Thus far, my mage, warlock, shadow priest, balance druid and hunter have gotten theirs.  I think the rest of my characters will get theirs later this week.

One thing I noticed is that I have to change pretty much all of the gems my gear need as the stat priority changed.  So while I'm making decent amount of gold farming old instances, I'm also spending quit a bit.

Following through what I did yesterday, I actually ran the rest of my toons through The Bastion of Twilight.  The second boss does pose a bit of challenge to my characters on their burst damage, but I manage to complete them without too much issue.

On two of my characters, I've been doing the holiday event, in hope of getting the pet.  After getting the first pet, I decided to keep the first character's candy and try to get the new Liche King custom.  This means I'll have to bring up another character and fly her all the way across various inn to get the candy needed to buy the second pet.
