Day 1958 - Warlords of Draenor Day 409

We spend the day doing Mythic Iskar and downing him actually advance our guild ranking in the realm.  We're now 7/13.  Still haven't down Gorefiend the guild breaker, but we're going after other bosses that we know we can down.  I got a non-tier head piece that's not optimum for my current hunter spec, so it'll stay in the bag.

Day 1957 - Warlords of Draenor Day 408

On our holiday short handed run, we went and got most of the Mythic bosses we've already down.  The hunter got a new boot with socket, and is an upgrade.  I hopped on my Paladin to tank Kilrogg and got my best in slot tanking trinket, Mythic grade.  We finished up the night by downing Socrethar in Mythic mode.  Every hunters in the raid bonus rolled for both the tier glove and the DPS bow.  None of us got it.

Day 1956 - Warlords of Draenor Day 407

On the last day of the raid week, I tried to get my 2 remaining toons with legendary ring their upgrade.  I was able to tank my way through a normal Archimonde kill on the warrior, but the mage failed with 2 different groups.  I did get the leg tier piece on my mage.  I failed to get the head or hand piece in later raids.

Day 1955 - Warlords of Draenor Day 406

Finish up the alt/pug run of heroic upper HFC, I got back on my druid to tank the bosses.  After many wipes, we managed to get him down.  The guild leader's alt got the weapon, and I got the heroic tier 18 piece.  Thus far my test with the 4 piece feral druid bonus of this gear set isn't as great as I've been lead to believe, but I probably need more practice.

We finished up the night by downing Fel-lord, Tyrant and Socrethar.  No additional gear drop for me.

The guild ran an alt run of Heroic HFC.  This time I brought the shadow priest through the lower HFC.  While I didn't get any tier piece, I did get quite a few upgrade pieces.

The druid tank her way through the 4 Mythic dungeon, albeit some of it was quite painful.

In the late night, the guild leader was trying to get a weapon for his mage alt.  I brought the druid to tank for him in Gorefiend and Xhur'horac.  The staff didn't drop, and we have many wipes on the demon with nothing to show for.

Day 1953 - Warlords of Draenor Day 404

I tried to get my mage to get ring upgrade.   While we got Mannoroth down, Archimonde seem beyond the reach of the groups I was with.

After that I switch to my warlock to get some quest token for the ring quest.  No gears drop though.

The druid run Socrethar and Tyrant normal for tier 18 piece.  Didn't get it, but did get a dps trinket.  It could also be using for tanking.

Since this is the holiday period, we didn't really have enough people to do our usual off raid alt run.  So I concentrate on getting as many Mythic dungeon done as I can.  The mage also did a normal run of lower HFC and got some much needed trinket.

On non-gaming news, it would appear the affliction that I had this past summer which hospitalized me has return.  Unfortunate, I'll have to wait until next week before I can see the doctor.

Day 1951 - Warlords of Draenor Day 402

On the guild progression night, we got the lower bosses in Mythic mode that we've already completed down.  I got the much coveted agility dps trinket and we spend the remaining night learning the first mythic upper HFC bosses, Socrethar the Eternal.  We didn't get him down, but we did get plenty of experiences on him.

After the raid is over, Kycilia (the hunter) got to finish her weekly Mythical dungeon (this week's bonus event).

Day 1950 - Warlords of Draenor Day 401

Since Dianora the paladin really doesn't need gear off Mannoroth or Archimonde in heroic mode, I brought in the hunter to help out on gearing those guild member that still need gear from those boss.

After that, we ran Mythic HFC for farmed content.  After the guild run raid was over, I hop back on the paladin and ran a normal HFC final 2 bosses for the ring uprade.

Day 1949 - Warlords of Draenor Day 400

On the last day of the raid week, I spend time on my death knight and warrior.  The death knight tank for the guild alt run and got the tier 18 glove, which completes her 4 piece bonus.  The tanking bonus is ok, but the dps bonus for unholy death knight is quite good.  I also got my warrior through a ring upgrade and got the normal version of Archimonde sword.

I spend quite a bit of time with my mage, taking her through most of the lower HFC instance on heroic and then some of the upper instance on normal.  Got tier shoulder and chest piece as well as complete the ring quest, my 6th character to have that done.  Also got the class trinket, which is of questionable value for a fire mage in non-add fight.

I took the druid to Gorefiend to get some tier gear.  One of those rare instance where I went in for some specific item and I got it.  Now I just need either glove or shoulder to get that elusive 4 piece.  It's supposed to be fantastic for feral druid.

On our offday raid, I brought my warrior for the first couple of lower heroic HFC bosses.  At Gorefiend, I switch over to Dianora who got her 4th piece of Tier 18 heroic.  I stay on Dianora for the rest of the run which ends just shy of the last 3 bosses.  I got 2 piece of immediately wearable upgrade (Tier 18 heroic tier leg, and tanking necklace).  This means I got all of those pieces to do valor point upgrade.

On our Mythic progression, we're short a tank.  However, I seem to have problem tanking Dia on mythical difficulty, so I end up using hunter there.  I went back on Dianora for Mythical Kilrogg, which we got down with far less difficulty.  I bonus rolled a glove that I'm probably not going to use and the tanking trinket I was hoping for didn't drop.

Our attendance on the first raid week was somewhat bad.  I had to come in as Dianora for Mythic Kormrok.  I did get 3 pieces of loot off him, bonus rolled the Mythic Tier 18 head piece, a potentially better piece of off set shoulder and a DPS trinket that I'm probably not going to use.  I also picked up a good boot from heroic Archimonde.

We did have enough DPS that Mythic Kormrok went down before the third pool leap, which is an significant improvement.

I was too busy running both timewalker dungeon and HFC for neglected characters to do proper old time raid farming.  So the only thing of note is my rogue finish the Cataclysm legendary rogue dagger quest.  Afterward I immediately queue up for Timewalker dungeon to test its effectiveness.  It's highly effective.

Took my mage through a single boss in Heroic HFC and got a iLevel upgrade (heroic warforged) necklace.  It doesn't have all of the stats I wanted, but the rest of the upgrade is too good to pass up.

I went on Dianora for a run at heroic HFC Gorefiend in hopes of getting an upgrade Tier 18 legplates.  Didn't get it.  I did get a belt that isn't an upgrade.

One of our regular tank wasn't available on our progression night on Mythical Kilrogg fight.  Since quit a few people are going to be late, I offered my paladin to tank trash mobs up to the boss.  After some deliberation, we decided that I'll be tanking the boss.  90 minutes later, we got the boss down and we're now 5/13 Mythical guild.  We got 3 wipes to have a good look at Gorefiend and it was a very intensive coordination fight.  It was a good night all around.

First day of the new raid week.  As usual, we did the final 2 bosses to gear up the guild mates that still need gears, and we hit Mythic raid afterward.

We actually plowed through the first 4 bosses in record time, one shotting both Kormrok and the Council, which was a new record for us.  The hunter didn't the trinket off council (it didn't drop) and the bonus roll turns up empty.

On the last day of the raid week, I concentrate on upgrading my neglected character's weapons to get them upgraded so the average item level goes above 700.

It was long grind, but doing daily heroic plus LFR did get my  mage, warlock, shadow priest, rogue and warlock up to 700.  Now I have to do the same with a bunch of my other characters that have already gotten legendary rings.

The guild was doing on an off-off night Mannoroth and Archimonde.  Just for the hell of it, I brought my Death Knight over to tank.  I'm slightly under geared tanking it in Heroic, but I did finish it.  I got both the heroic Chest tier piece as well as the best 2 hander my DK can get.  Kind of sad that my DK now have better dps weapon (which she's using as tanking weapon) than my Paladin.

We spend the remaining time working on Kilrogg.  Much tough fight as usual.

We did the heroic HFC final 2 bosses as usual.  I had a wee bit of problem with the keyboard rendering me utterly ineffective.  Fortunately the guild did came through for me and I got the Paladin class trinket, and it's heroic warforged.

After that we blew through the first 3 Mythic bosses in record time.  Perhaps it's all of the valor point upgrades we put up.  But also having more practice helps.

We also put in solid hours of attempts at the Hellfire Council fight.  We should get it soon.

I did my annual Indian casino run.  This year I only donated $70 to their cause.  Afterward I tried getting some of my other characters their ring quests as well as getting out of LFR.  I got my mage through 18 tome quest token.
