I finished out the weekly timewalk event on the Mage, and got an upgraded version of a trinket.  Still grinding through them took a bit of time.  I got a clock on the Paladin, not even sure if it's an upgrade.

Meanwhile, I'm slowly grinding out xp on Warlock using Island Expedition.  Still got nothing in terms of Island Expedition toys/pet.

I did quite a bit of Island Expedition on all of the characters that can do it meaningful.  Still didn't get anything.  Also cleared out all of the characters' shot at Arathi outdoor rares.  The Death Knight still needs to do the quests there.

Since the guild stop raiding normal, they decided to do a normal for alts.  I brought in the Mage to fill out the holes in her gear.  We managed got all but the last 2 bosses, which is pretty good for alts.

We got a good night of raiding done with 2 new boss done with time to spare.  I didn't get any meaningful loot.  The Alliance Warfront was over and we regain control over Arathi Highland, which means the World Boss there is up again.  All of the rares also reset.  Didn't get any loot.

Day 2746 - Battle for Azeroth Day 44

We skipped normal Udir and went straight for Heroic.  We finally got Zek'voz down and I spend all 3 bonus roll that I've saved, and got a boot out of it.  I also got  a socked leg from a previous boss.

After the raid, I put together a PUG group to do Island Expedition with express purpose of item farming (go after the late arrival to the island).  I got 2 pets out of the 2 runs I did.  So perhaps this is the way to do farming.  I now have 1010 unique pets with 3 new pets in the leveling queue.

Day 2745 - Battle for Azeroth Day 43

I did two low Mythic+.  At the end of the day, I went and finish Get Hek'd achievement to unlock Child of Jani battle pet.  Unfortunately for me, the character that unlocked the achievement is the only one that can buy the pet.  Oh well, when I have enough tokens, I'll buy it on the Paladin.

Day 2744 - Battle for Azeroth Day 42

The Mage is now 339 iLevel, which is kinda ridiculous when you think about it.  But it's Warfront week for Alliance, and I'm taking full advantage of it.

I also got the Death Knight up to 348 and even got one piece of upgrade for Paladin, when I tried to just finish Warfront to scrap gears to level Engineering.  That last 3 points of Engineering are hard to obtain.

I leveled Warlock to 112 using just Island Expedition and managed to get a new pet, which I went ahead and level using the usual method.  At the end of the night, I also got enough pet charm to buy one more pet, and this time I have to use Pandaria pet tamer plus the one pet tamer in Barrens to level.  At the end of the day, I'm at 1006 unique pets.

Continue to do Warfront on the Mage to gear up.  When that got too montonomous, I  switch over to Death Knight.

Day 2742 - Battle for Azeroth Day 40

It's time to grind out the Mage's iLevel up to 320 so I can get into Warfront.  I'm doing what I can to get gears.  There isn't an Emissary quest that rewards gears up.  Since this character never did any of the Arathi Highland rares, I was able to just do them plus that once a month quest.  That got me a couple of pieces.  I clear out World Quest that gave enough 305 and then queue for normal dungeon.  I also bought Darkmoon trinket for caster dps.

And after getting to 320 (including finishing up all of Champion of Azeroth faction to upgrade the neck piece), I went into Warfront.  After a couple of tries, I decided to switch over from Frost to Fire spec.  While Frost is much better for leveling, Fire is much better for the AoE mob situation in Warfront.  The monthly reward from Warfront was a 370 wand, and the first gear reward is a 340 staff.  I'm using the staff until I get an offhand.

Day 2741 - Battle for Azeroth Day 39

Finally got the Mage to max level, and immediately put her to work getting Polished Pet Charms.  The armory is currently not updating my counts, so I won't be in too much hurry getting more pet.

I got the last stretch of XP from doing Island expedition.  Didn't get any pets, but some transmog gears that I already know.  Next up is probably Warlock or Priest.

Day 2740 - Battle for Azeroth Day 38

The usual raid leader can't make the second night of raid.  We still managed to down the bosses that we've already done.  We also spend about 40 minutes on the 5th boss.  The best we got is 13%.  Probably will down him next week.

Warfront for Alliance is now open, and I did one on Paladin.  It takes about 30 minutes to complete and gave me item that's not rewards.  I'll run the Death Knight next.

Day 2739 - Battle for Azeroth Day 37

The new raid week went well.  I got a 375 wrist from the weekly chest.  During the heroic portion of the raid, I got a 395 wrist that completely replace the weekly item.  I finally got an Azerite chest from the normal run and a boot.  The world boss was kind enough to drop a socket leg to cap off the night.  In all, a very good night of raiding bringing my total up to 362.

Day 2738 - Battle for Azeroth Day 36

Last day of the raid week.  I finished up the emissary and got the Paladin exalted with Proudmoore.  This brings my total exalted number up to 90.  Still 10 more to go.  I bought 2 of the 50 Polished Pet Charm pets from my faction's vendor and got 1 to drop from Island Expedition bringing my total unique pet up to 999.

Day 2737 - Battle for Azeroth Day 35

Slowly but surely I got my pet count up towards the thousand mark.  Outside of the emissary quest, I'm running quests to get polished pet charm to buy more pets.  I'm going to have to level up my Horde character to get one specific pet if I don't want to pay it on the auction house.

I also decided to start leveling the Mage, who's already level 111 thanks to rest experience bonus and the creative use of pet battling that both levels the new pets and gain experience at the same time.  She finished up Tirisgarde Sound and hit level 117 already.  I think 1/3 through Drustvar should take her to 120.

The work finally slow down a bit.  Got a big of game time on.  I also decided to do the weekly Mythic dungeon events on Death Knight and got some good pieces.

Work still limits my WoW time.  I did a bit of Island Expedition after the supposed improved drop rate.  I got one quest that rewards 700 AP.  Still no toys, transmog and others.

Didn't get much of anything done due to work.  But I did managed to get the weekly event done on Paladin and got a much needed trinket out of it.  I also did enough world quest to get the pet charms to buy 2 pets.  Bringing my total up to 994.

The guild finished the 3 boss we've already done in the previous week.  It could be the fact that the groups is bigger than the pickup group last week, but this time the 4th boss felt harder.

I picked up a heroic cloak.  It's nice to have upgrades.

With one weeks worth of additional gears, and some familiarity with all of the boss mechanics, we managed to pushed through all of the normal Uldir, and got the first boss in Heroic done.  I got some offspec gears, but no main spec.

Afterward, someone in the guild have a Mythic +9 Siege key, and we spend more than a hour in the instance.  We found that if you don't care about the timer, the best way to handle the last boss is just doing it slowly and grind down the low health tentacle first before moving onto the other part of the mechanics.  I got a 365 weapon out of it.

Last day of the raid week.  I finished off all of the emissary quest for the 120s and got one Mythic+ with guild.  The next character to level is the mage, who already got to 111 just with pet battles.

Got the Death Knight leveling done.  I did mostly Tirisgarde and some Drustvar.  Afterward, I Arathi Highland rares and got some gears, some of which my main would love to get.  I also knocked out all of the gears WQ and all of the emissary quest.

Day 2728 - Battle for Azeroth Day 26

The guild ran an impromptu heroic raid run with pug.  It went much better than what everyone expected.  We got through 4 heroic bosses and I got 2 piece of loot.  A very good night.

Day 2 of the raid night, we got the 7th boss down and spend nearly an hour on the last boss.  It's a coordination fight, and we got him down as well.  Afterward, we gave the heroic version of the first boss a couple of attempts before calling it a night.

First day of raid for this expansion.  We have a very full attendance and managed to get 6/8 of the bosses down.  We spend 30 minutes on Mythrax but he's a wee bit more complicated compared to what comes before.  I got 2 piece of gear, none of them for dps.

Day 2724 - Battle for Azeroth Day 22

I decided to at least advance all of my characters through to BfA starting zone.  Each and every single one of those actually took quite a bit of time.  So much so, that my leveling of Death Knight isn't going as fast as I like.  Since I took the scenic route with leveling my main, I've decided to use the optimized method as lay out by Azeroth Auto Pilot mod.  We'll see.

Day 2723 - Battle for Azeroth Day 21

And I've done the Dark Iron Grind.  Exalted with 7th Legion and now most of those quests aren't as urgent as before.  I still do them if they give good rewards, but the bonus reputation quests, which used to be high on my priority now completely falls off the map unless there's nothing else to do.

I realized that the battle pet requires a lot of pet tokens.  And the only way of reliably getting them is with lots of alts.  I've not leven any alts yet, so perhaps it's time.  The alt with the simplest dps rotation is Frost Death Knight, and I'm starting with that.

I got the Battle for Azeroth Path Finder Part 1 done, and extra 20% boos on mount speed is always nice.  Part 2 and perhaps Part 3 is further down the line.  Got another couple of Mythic done.
