On the 2nd whole day of the expansion, I finished up the outstanding quests in the first zone, grab all of the dragon riding glyphs and progress the tech tree.  I leveled up to level 65 at 1/2 way through the 2nd zone.  Perhaps I'm moving a bit too slowly.

First day of Dragonflight was somewhat of a mess.  The boat didn't quite work at the start, and there were instances where my character and the world didn't agree with each other.  At the end of the day, I'm still in the first zone, at level 63.

On the last day of the expansion, I went and bought the quest token to do warlock green fire quest from MoP.  The actual quest itself isn't scaled to the maximum level, especially the rather difficult last boss.

After the World Boss Tour and the fact we got less than 2 days left of this expansion, I opted to take things easier by just healing a couple of instances.  I also spend a bit of time getting the 2 new dragon characters up to renown 80.

Before I took the last dosage of the proscribed antiviral medicine, I did another test and found that I'm now negative.  I'll probably not go into office this coming week.

Day 4183 - Dragonflight Pre-Patch Day 33

The friend who reminded me of the achievement managed to get hers done as well.  She was stuck on some of the Torghast events that I did prior to the pre-patch changes, so she had it harder.  I spend the day doing the world boss tour for my characters.  Unfortunately one character managed to get a second trinket whilst other character still are waiting for theirs.

Day 4181 - Dragonflight Pre-Patch Day 31

For perhaps the first time ever, I came out of Thanksgiving 2 pounds lighter than going in.  That's what having no appetite does.  

I finished up the The Necrotic Wake for the week, 22 attempts, 188 total.  Didn't see it drop once.

While practicing to heal on the new dragon class/race, I was reminded by a friend that I still have some achievable left on the table:  Back from Beyond Shadowlands.  I've actually done most of them except for 2 category.  I haven't finished all of Abomination Factory's accessory grind and I have 2 sets of elites and rares to kill in Maw.  The Abomination Factory's achievement rewards both a title and a mount, so I brought my total up a bit.  One of the rare had an 1.5 hours respawn timer, so I decided to wait until morning to get that achievement done.

Day 4180 - Dragonflight Pre-Patch Day 30

I've cutback on the amount of medicine taken to see if my body not needing them.  Still feeling the after effect of the virus.  

I managed to get alliance mage, warlock, rogue and hunter through Necrotic Wake.  I also got the Horde dragon character done, through her starting zone.  With all of the excess limited event token, I was able to gear her out quickly.  And I was also able to get the Necrotic Wake on both characters.

Day 4179 - Dragonflight Pre-Patch Day 29

Belatedly I realized that my Shadow Priest doesn't have the AOE that I was hoping for.  So I split the task of farming for the transmog set between her and the Lightforged Mage.  I then make sure that every one had at least one shot at a elemental invasion boss.  The final piece of transmog is the crossbow for the hunter.

Still sick, feeling a bit better than yesterday.

Day 4 of this sickness.  I did another test (different manufacturer) and positive again.  I attempted to get to the doctor but was only given phone consultation.  Unfortunately the prescription I was expected to get isn't there, so I'll have to wait until next day to try getting it.

Day 4177 - Dragonflight Pre-Patch Day 27

The good news is that the fever have broken after I spend most of Saturday sleeping and drinking water.  The bad news is that now that I'm in the nasal discharge phase of the disease, I took another test and it came back positive.  I still have body ache, and as expected during the nasal discharge phase, the muscles needed for coughing is now hurting.  I'll try to go to my doctor to confirm all of this.

My bout of fever continues.  My temperature goes from 99 to 103.  Just drinking a lot of fluid and taking pain medicine to address the fever.  I tried a couple of runs of the new Uldun, but in the midst of doing the last dungeon run, I broke the keyboard.  I'll probably need to go and get a replacement.

The Evoker got the 4 pieces of the heirloom trinket done.  Even after I upgrade it fully it's probably not really worth the trouble.  But it's only available to obtain in 2 weeks leading up to the next expansion, so might as well.  I also fully decked out Evoker to iLevel 260, and I think I can stop for now.

Spend more time getting the Evoker's teleporter and mission table upgraded (needed more redeemed souls).  I also started to do the elemental invasion events to get the item needed to create trinket.

Phase 2 of the pre-patch arrives and with it, the ability to create the new race and class (singular).  I was able to create 3 letter characters on both Horde and Alliance realm.  I spend a bit of time getting that character out of the starting zone and then try to gear her out.  At the night, she's at iLevel 245, having done 2/3 of the World Boss and all of the Anniversary boss.  I also need to do the phase 2 events.

I was call in on a work call for 2 hour whilst on my personal day off.  Oh well.  The trip to Rose Hills went all right but the return drive was a nightmare.  I moved 5 miles in 30 minutes.  Here's the rose for this week.

Meanwhile I spend time on getting the rest of the characters their shot at The Necrotic Wake.  No mount.  I also found out that I could just upgrade my offhand weapon instead of trying to grind the world boss for them.

The 2nd day of the anniversary event saw the dragon of nightmare spawn in the northern part of Feralas, which is inconvenient for everyone.  Since I only have Horde characters to content with, I can still port to Thunderbluff and go from there.

World of Warcraft 18th anniversary event happens, and as with previous year, world boss of the current gear level drops shows up.  I tried to get the weekly quest of it done, but I had to call it a day after 14.  I was mostly looking for weapon upgrade, but any gears will do.  In this first day, the Horde characters had it easier to get to the bosses.

 I was wrong, and did still have some Horde character to run through NW.  I also took the plunge and remove ALL of the Luxthos WeakAura modules and start over.  That really clear up most of the errors with WeakAura.

Continuing my farming of The Necrotic Wake Mount, I've send all of my none tank or healing capable characters through the run (mage x2, warlock x2, hunter, rogue).  I've already send the human paladin and Night Elf Death Knight as well.  12 more attempt this week.
