For a change, I opted to just get all of my level 60s (at least on the Alliance side) to do their bi-weekly dragon racing events to pocket some gold and get some leveling.  I was able to get that done before the reset.

The drive to Rose Hills was quick despite the drizzle.

I tank more M+5 and M+6 instances.  And I was able to actually finish the community cooking event this week.  Somehow I managed to reach next 2 levels of renown on both Tuskarr and the Dragons thus opening up newer gears.

I was able to queue as DPS to LFR, and did relatively ok.  Got 2 transmog pieces.  I also tanked The Azure Vault, despite the double wipe at the start of the instance.  We're able to finish the instance on time.

I found that fishing at fishing hole whilst it's in rich mode does increase the chance of fishing up useful stuff.  I was able to get get both a recipe and a gold coin out of it.  I can now craft Quack-E battle pet.

I did an M+5 Academy with a good group.  We finished the tree boss without most of the mechanics kicked in and did the run with ease.  I also got an upgrade bracer from the world boss.  I should've held off opening the vault until I'm done with the weekly event, but that's already done.

Finally I got the second gold coin and managed to get the elusive fishing design from that.

I spend the whole day closing out Shadowland mission tables and getting all of the characters to set their Hearthstone at the new capitals.  Meanwhile I also send all of them to open their Christmas boxes at their faction's respective locations.  At the end of the day, I decided to bit the bullet and farm out enough coins to buy the necessary quest item to start the Otto mount grind.  At the end of the night, I was on the last quest fish step when I had to call it a night.  Fortunately for me, that fish came up the next day rather quickly.  With all of the requirement fulfilled, I went ahead and go back to the location to turn in the quest item.  Lots of work, but good looking mount.

I took the Sunday and did a bunch of M+, one healing and one tanking the Jade Serpent.  After doing all of the available quests, I did Sabellian reputation grind, ending with the ability to buy the 2nd item to get Loyal Magmammoth.  Here's what it looks like:

As the night draws to a close, I noticed a druid playing friend is still around, so I went and decided to get another mount, Magmashell, which either requires a rare toy, or a healer.  I could've farm for the quest item, but it's only 4000 gold, so buying it off from AH.  After getting the mount, here's what it looks like:

After the alt dragon riding touring, I decided to knock out gold basic dragon riding.  In the midst of doing that, the game crashed when Blizzard pushed out a hotfix that broke the game for about 30 minutes.  By the end of the night, I got that achievement done.  Next up is the advance course.

I did the entire Mythic 0 world tour to try getting gears.  From which I got ring, cloak, head and a main hand for tanking set.  Unfortunately I'm still sporting iLevel 306 green boots and less than ideal chest and leg piece.  I suppose I'll be doing Heroic spam to make up those pieces.

I also finished the family pet battle achievement.  With that done, I switch back to the normal pet battle groups and scripts.

I ding level 70 in the midst of a dungeon run whilst also doing the final zone.  With the leveling gears I'm wearing, I'm really weak compare to how I was during level 60.  I finished the day doing a couple of more dungeons and getting gears.  I tanked heroic Uldum and managed to get a couple of pieces of gear out of it.

I decided to take a bit of time just finishing up the Dragon Riding Glyph grind and get it out of the way so I have a fully functional dragon flying skills going forward.  That took a bit of time, I then finish up 1.5 zones ending in the final one and got 2 more flying dragons out of it.  At the end of the night, I was at level 69 in the capital city of the expansion.

Before I took the last dosage of the proscribed antiviral medicine, I did another test and found that I'm now negative.  I'll probably not go into office this coming week.

The friend who reminded me of the achievement managed to get hers done as well.  She was stuck on some of the Torghast events that I did prior to the pre-patch changes, so she had it harder.  I spend the day doing the world boss tour for my characters.  Unfortunately one character managed to get a second trinket whilst other character still are waiting for theirs.

For perhaps the first time ever, I came out of Thanksgiving 2 pounds lighter than going in.  That's what having no appetite does.  

I finished up the The Necrotic Wake for the week, 22 attempts, 188 total.  Didn't see it drop once.

While practicing to heal on the new dragon class/race, I was reminded by a friend that I still have some achievable left on the table:  Back from Beyond Shadowlands.  I've actually done most of them except for 2 category.  I haven't finished all of Abomination Factory's accessory grind and I have 2 sets of elites and rares to kill in Maw.  The Abomination Factory's achievement rewards both a title and a mount, so I brought my total up a bit.  One of the rare had an 1.5 hours respawn timer, so I decided to wait until morning to get that achievement done.

I've cutback on the amount of medicine taken to see if my body not needing them.  Still feeling the after effect of the virus.  

I managed to get alliance mage, warlock, rogue and hunter through Necrotic Wake.  I also got the Horde dragon character done, through her starting zone.  With all of the excess limited event token, I was able to gear her out quickly.  And I was also able to get the Necrotic Wake on both characters.

Belatedly I realized that my Shadow Priest doesn't have the AOE that I was hoping for.  So I split the task of farming for the transmog set between her and the Lightforged Mage.  I then make sure that every one had at least one shot at a elemental invasion boss.  The final piece of transmog is the crossbow for the hunter.

As expected, the prepatch took much longer than initially stated (3 PM PDT).  I was able to get on at 6:30 PM.  Since there's so much changes, I opted to go and disable all mods and slowly turns things back on.  I managed to reduced the addons from 148 to about 48.  Some of the mods I'd like to use haven't been updated yet, and perhaps they never will.  I'll keep an look out on them.  At the end of the night, I managed to fix 3 characters out of all of the characters.  This is somewhat of manual process.  This is what the new UI looks like.  I'll probably push the Unit frames closer to the center.
