I took my monk tanking through Terrace of Endless Spring and the second half of Heart of Fear.  I got the 4 piece bonus for tanking, and I don't think I embarrassed myself on the tanking duty.  Didn't get the glove from Heart of Fear, but I got the head piece from ToES.

Day 935 - Mists of Pandarian Day 156

New raiding week this week.  Now that I don't have the holiday dungeon to run anymore, I've shifted my priority to generate enough lesser lucky coins to get my weekly alotment of 3 lucky coins.  Isn't priority splendid?

This is what I had for lunch today.  I had grilled fish, albeit, next time I'll just have lemon pepper and salt instead of teriyaki sauce, which is a wee bit heavy.

We missed celebrating my brother's birthday (mid week) so we make it up last night at Morton's The Steakhouse.

Another week, and another sets of old raid instances to try out.  This week, I'm doing tier 5 for 3 of my characters, Shadow Priest, Warlock and Rogue on Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep.  Other than my priest learning the mechanics of Tempest Keep (especially the robot Void Reaver and its immunity to pretty much her main weapon), that instances only have 2 boss whose set token loot I'm interested in.  Fortunately for me, all 3 of the toons I send got theirs.

Serpentshrine Cavern have a different problem.  of the 3 boss that drops tier token, one of them is relatively easy Leotheras the Blind.  Pretty much just straight up fight, ignoring all of his mechanics.  Fathom-Lord Karathress has an ability that pretty much kills mana users (of which warlock and priest are) and requires a bit more finesses on my part.  The rogue can just burn him down without much problem.  The leg token for her class didn't drop.

Lady Vashj, the end boss deserves her own special mention.  I haven't gotten her down yet.  Still working on the mechanics, but I should get it solved by next weekend.

--  Correction.  On my last attempt of the night, after my original post, I got her down on the rogue.  So the rogue only have Fathom-Lord left next week to complete Tier 5 transmute set look.

After getting the 5th piece in Tier 14 for my shadow priest (last piece was the chest), I went ahead and re-equip the higher iLevel non-set piece shoulder, but transmute it to the set piece look. Now, I started trying to get Tier 5 pieces. For priest, warlock and rogue, this is a good looking piece. Other than 2 bosses, they should all be fairly straight forward. 113/70/60 88 mg/DL 176.2lb

Ran through a couple of more LFR with priority on my paladin. 2 more Sigil of Power and I'm not going to have to go back to the Vault anymore. I also ran Heart of Fear on my rogue and got the 4th piece of tier armor. The 4 piece bonus is really nice... 117/71/60 87 mg/DL 176lb

My aim now is to get as many of my too started on Chapter II of the Black Prince quest line as possible. This means that I have to run the druid and death knight next on that list. Unfortunately for my paladin, the boss have not been kind in dropping the right kind of token, and I'm still stucked at 5 of 10 of Sigil of Power. 111/74/51 83 mg/DL 177.4lb

A new raiding week, and a new start. I opted to try my hand at tanking on my main character Dianora on Terrace of Endless Spring. The first boss was ok. Second and Third boss I repeatly died due to my lack of gear. Oddly enough, the final boss Sha of Fear was a breeze to tank. Didn't get anything interesting. I ran my rogue through the same instance, and got 2 of the same dagger. I only need one... 113/73/55 84 mg/DL 177.2lb

I also took a bit of time yesterday on my hunter to go through Sunwell Plateau.  She's the only character of mine that actually might need stuff there.  Alas, nothing.

After reading up on the mechanics of the fight a bit, I was able to adjust my strategy and finish the Illidan fight on my rogue.  The off hand epic sword dropped as well as the head piece I wanted.  So my rogue is now wearing a blindfold...

I also went ahead and finished the Black Temple on my monk, nothing significantly dropped, so I moved on to the other character's farming need.

The rogue managed to get the slime pet from AQ40, which scratched that rather unrewarding boss off my list.  Now only Twin Emperor's pet remain off that instance.  The monk was able to get the Gluth pet from Naxx instance, which means that only 2 more pet remain on that achievement.

Day 925 - Mists of Pandarian Day 146

As the week draws to a close, most of my toons have gotten through LFR where they can pick up gears. I started to do other old world content, starting with my monk trying to go through Black Temple. For the most part, it was easy, albeit, the mechanic of Reliquary of Souls escapes me until much much later.  It was pretty much smooth sailing until I hit the Illidari Council fight.  After a couple of wipes, I stop and let my rogue have another run at it.  Both of them are leather armor wearer, and there's a nice head piece for transmogrification that I want them to have.

My rogue basically hit a wall on the Roliquary of Souls fight until I read the mechanics of the fight again, and discovered that I was killing myself.  After correcting that, I went to sleep.  I was also able to finish the Council fight with the rogue, but got stucked at Illidan fight phase 2.  After many attempts, I give up and went  to sleep.

I got woken up this morning at 4AM. As it's only 30 minutes earlier than my usual time, I went ahead and take care of the alerts and then did the new holiday run on my 3 tanks. Still nothing worthwhile yet. 135/85/51 96 mg/DL 177lb

With the new holiday event, my priority have somewhat shifted. The item that's drop is pretty much good only for the amount of money it fetch (9g), since I have better item on all of my characters for all of the specs. The only thing I want from the place is the rocket ride, which still eludes me after 4 years. But this year, I have 3 tank spec character, which means instant queue time. The rest will have to wait about 10 minutes per toon for that queue timer. 114/75/58 80 mg/DL 177lb

I spend the whole day running through most of my characters through various LFR.  The loots are far and very few in between.  I'm also running out of both elder coins and the lesser one, which means my chances of getting loot are less.  Well, patch 5.2 is forthcoming, so all of that will be moot point.

Busy day today.  I'm actually surprised that I managed to do both half of the vault on the druid, mage, and the mage also did Terrace raid.  That being the case, they're both going back on the bench as I have other characters that need their turn.

I crafted the caster epic chest piece for my druid, which rises her iLevel up a bit.  Next up is the plate wearer, which unfortunately requires quit a bit more Spirit of Harmony than my blacksmith have now.  I'll be getting at least 1.6 spirit per day, which means it might take a bit of time.

My coffee machine died this morning.  It has served my household for about 7 years.  It's a bit sad to see it go.  More importantly, I'll be without freshly grind coffee in my house for a couple of days as we order a replacement.  The instant coffee just isn't the same.

My hunter got her 4 piece bonus today.  Didn't have too much chance to test it out.  She also got her Sha-touched weapon gemmed.  Time for me to round out the rest of my toons.
