Day 2079 - Warlords of Draenor Day 530

On our off night raid, I brought in my druid.  We actually got all of the bosses that have tier token, and through Mannoroth and Archimonde.  Unfortunately, my computer crashed right after Archimonde is pulled.  So I didn't get credit for that kill, but I did get heroic tier leggings, heroic Soul Capacitor and bonus roll another Mannoroth glaive that I can probably put on a different enchant for different roll.

Surprisingly enough, we got Tyrant Velhari down after one hour.  I got a boot piece that can be an upgrade after I do the valor point upgrade.  This means I really need about 1000 valor point of upgrade.

We finished up the first raid night getting all of the farmed contents in preparation for Tyrant progression on the next day.  I got a wrist piece with socket that can be an upgrade, after I fully upgrade it.

I went through the final day of the raid week doing more battle pet leveling.  Since there isn't a raid night so I have time to do the grand tour of both Draenor and Pandaria.  Some good pet leveling.

Day 2075 - Warlords of Draenor Day 526

Remember what I said yesterday about not able to capture most of the mechanical battle pet in Everlook.  Well, I found out that the rest of the pets are available as secondary pet.  That was time wasted trying out different pets.  I also picked up sporeling pet.  All in all good day of leveling and capturing.

While going through the battle pet that I haven't captured, I noticed a whole bunch of mechanical pets near Everlook in Winterspring.  However, out of 3 of those pets, I only saw one type that I can engage with.  One of the battle pet was stucked in an area that I cannot start the pet battle with.  This is rather frustrating.

I'm now trying to streamline the battle pet leveling process.  I can level 1-2 pet from 1 to 25 per day after doing the grand tour.  However, it does take a long time.  I also have to finish the daily garrison pet battle.  The bonus pet that can drop from those bag can bring in good money.

On our alt raid night, we got as far as finishing most of the instance.  My mage picked up tier head piece on bonus roll as well as leg piece on roll.  She also got a wand, albeit, she doesn't have offhand piece to go with it.  Not bad of a night.

Day 2071 - Warlords of Draenor Day 522

We had 3 hours spend with Mythic Tyrant.  Our best attempt is a 175k wipe, heartbreak, but at least we didn't have DDOS to mess with our progression attempt.

I managed to get another pet, Jade Tentacle from having 400 points in pet battle achievement.  Not exactly sure if it fits into any of my battle teams.

Day 2070 - Warlords of Draenor Day 521

Once again, we got all of the farmed content done on first day of the raid, leaving us with a full raid to work on progression.  Lets hope DDOS doesn't make another appearance.  I got another battle pet, this time Baby Winston from Overwatch Origin.  Taking him through a couple of pet trainer battles and he's a brand new level 25 pet.  This also nets me the achievement of getting better trap.

Day 2069 - Warlords of Draenor Day 520

I spend the last raid week of the week just doing more pet battling.  I actually leveled 2 more pets via the pet trainer battles.  They may not be good source of gold, but they're really good for leveling low level pets.  Oh well, another new raiding week starts, and the next expansion is in 4 months.  Time to gear up.

Day 2068 - Warlords of Draenor Day 519

I spend the day going through Pandaren Spirit Tamer twice, first time to get the achievement and the second time to get the daily done.  It's a good place to get pet experience.  I also got the Beasts of Fable quest done.  Didn't have the time to do the dailies.

And at the end of the day, I decided to try farming for Unborn Val'kyr once more.  And in Howling Fjord, I got it.  I was exciting enough to break out my rare pet team and got it on the first try.

I didn't take a victory shot, but here's what it looks like with my warrior using the pet mirror.

Step one of the goal achieved.  I got the Taming The World achievement done.  This gives me Safari Hat toy which I'm going to be wearing all the time while pet battling.  I also got the Taming Draenor.  This allows me to build level 3 of Menageries.  I don't know what this actually accomplishes, as I'm already doing the Draenor Daily Garrison Pet Battle with level 2 of the building.  Oh well it's another achievement done.

Day 2066 - Warlords of Draenor Day 517

After I started doing pet battle a bit, it has become a nice time waster.  I'm taking a break from queuing up HFC for my alts and concentrating on getting a nice pet battle teams going.  Just doing the daily garrison quest yields 80 pet token that can be traded for useful toys.  My first goal is to get as many of the tier 1 pet as possible.  This is going to be expensive as I'm going to just buy the available tier 1 pet from auction house when I'm low on time.  My second goal is to farm for rare wild battle pet.  This will definitely take time.  First goal is Unborn Val'kyr.  Even before I started doing pet battle seriously, I had wanted it.  And I look at how difficult it is to farm it...

After our setback from yesterday, we regroup for the alt run.  This time I brought in my warrior to tank the lower HFC.  We progress that just fine, except we didn't have the people to finish any of the upper.  Oh well, I did get some gears, not sure if they're worth the trouble.

So we have a full night to work on Tyrant?  Our entire night of progression is 2 pull.  Blizzard suffered DDOS attack and our night was ruined.

We actually finished all of the farmed content in one night, leaving us with full raid night to deal with Tyrant.  I of course didn't get any new gear.

On the last day of the raid week, I quickly got addicted to doing pet battle, and spending a good chunk of my diminishing supply of Ultimate Battle-Training Stone.  I also got started with my mage, warlock and priest on the next quest token farming, Time Grows Short.  It should take 3 weeks to complete.

Day 2061 - Warlords of Draenor Day 512

After finishing my Ulduar/Icecrown mount farming, I decided to do the next step in Fireland legendary staff quest chain.  I've already gotten past the initial quest token down.  The next step involves interacting with the boss in a very specific manner and to shave one week off the next step, not killing them.  One of the boss is simply very hard to do with just one character, so I ask a healer friend to fill in that step.  She was graciously enough do help me on three of my character that's up to that step in the quest chain.  My druid still have a week to go until we get to that step.  Still, I was able to get through the Delegation.  I can start the next quest token farming right away.

I was running around with a Horde alt hunter to get to level 20 to get an achievement.  However, while running near undercity, I cam across a rather common undead battle pet and captured him, thus pique my interest in doing some pet battle.  This will not have a good outcome as it's yet another time and gold sink.  I quickly establishes the pet menagerie and upgrade all of them to level 2.  Doing the garrison pet battle daily on 10 characters yields 80 pet token which I can collect to 500 to buy a pet mirror toy.  Hey, it's a goal to achieve.

I brought in 4 different characters for various bosses on our off night raiding.  We concentrate on upper citadel and I actually managed to get a shoulder tier piece for the shadow priest, her 4th piece.  Not sure if I'm seeing actual dps increases, but the healing spec should get a boost.

The raid allows me to bring in Dianora for a couple of bosses in lower HFC.  I got 3 pieces of loot upgrade for the retribution spec.  We finished up the night with Gorefiend and spend 1 hour on Tyrant.  Our composition still isn't right and we got to phase 3 only twice.

As usual, I spend the last raid day of the week just doing cleanup works and farming for Fel Blight from Lord Kazzak.  I was able to get some really nice DPS number on my hunter, topping off at 200K.  I also found out that there IS a limit to how many WoW Token I can buy.  Turns out there is a 10 tokens per week.

Day 2054 - Warlords of Draenor Day 505

I decided to start a new project, finishing Heroic 25 Fireland on all of my characters.  Two of the bosses have mechanics that can be bypass by being tank spec.  What I'm trying is to do them without being in that spec.  Anyhow, I started with my squishiest character, Fire Mage and was surprised that I was able to get through Shannox without dying.  After that, I also decided to complete the Fireland Legendary staff quest on as many character that qualified.  It turns out that this endeavor will cost a lot of money.  9k gold per character.  Oh well, I can always sell some more WoW Token.

Accidentally ran Heroic Mannoroth and Archimonde on my shadow priest instead of my rogue.  I didn't get any meaningful gear, but did upgrade the ring.  After noticing that mistake, I ran my rogue through Heroic Mannoroth and didn't get the tier chest piece.
