Day 877 - Mists of Pandarian Day 98

I actually got most of my level 90 characters to finish Raid instance Heart of Fear.  Other than a couple of weird mechanics on the 4th boss, it's a fairly big and enjoyable step up from Vault.  At least the fight isn't as annoying as Will of the Emperor (the last boss of Vault).

Next stop is Terrace of Endless Spring.

After loosing a couple of late night bid on Brawler Guild invite, I decided to pony up the necessary online currency. It cost me 10k gold, but I managed to get my paladin invited into Brawler's Guild. Now just the rest of the characters.

Day 875 - Mists of Pandarian Day 96

I spend the day finishing up The Auguest Celestial dailies as well as Cloud Serpent ones.  The end is near for the my tailor alts to start making their bags.  One thing I didn't anticipate is that these daily quest doesn't necessary generate cloth, and as a result, I'm severely short on them for my daily silk transmute.

Took my father to celebrate his birthday tonight.  Ruth's Chris restaurant.  This is the second year in a roll that we've done this.  This year, he have lamb chop.  I have Steak with Lobster.

I periodically check in to the Black Market to see if there are affordable Brawler's Guild invite.  It would seem there are people who practically park their characters there for a chance of snatching up the last minute purchase.  Still haven't gotten my invite yet.

Day 873 - Mists of Pandarian Day 94

Now that I've actually ran most of my characters through Molten Core, Blackwing Lair and both part of Vault LFR, I've decided to slow down a bit and actually get some reputation grind going through.  For the most part, priority is given to my three tailors who needs to reach exalted with The August Celestials for their bag patterns.

One thing I did noticed is that I have actually exhausted materials for the daily transmute for my tailors/enchanters.  Well, time to go back to the grind.  At least there will be the source of my materials.

Day 872 - Mists of Pandarian Day 93

I managed to get 3 of my characters through Molten Core and Blackwing Lair.  Queueing and finishing (mostly) the LFR vault at the same time.  Now I'll push through Cloud Serpent reputation grind with those that can go through Heart of Fear LFR as well.

I'm also going to have to stop and gem up all of my characters as well.  This will take time.

Day 871 - Mists of Pandarian Day 92

Christmas day.  I spend 2.5 hours away from the house taking my father and brothers to dinner.  I also managed to put ALL of my casters through Molten Core and Blackwing Lair (in the case of my mage, Molten Core twice due to the weekly reset).  I collected enough of the original set to transmute most of the visible part of the Druid's gear to look like tier one, which is quit distinct.

While going through the classic dungeons, I also managed to squeeze all of these characters through both Vault LFR and managed to score some decent gears out of it.  My warlock got a caster wand, so I immediately made the epic fan to go with that.

Surprisingly enough all of my caster except warlock now has the damage over time trinket, and all of them can use it.  Of course, my warlock can really use it.  Well, there's always next week.

Now that Dianora have hit exalted with August Celestials, I've pretty much stop doing any daily quest with her. She still needs to tabard reputation grind with the Alliance Pandarian faction, but that can wait. At the end of that rainbow is the red riding kite. 116/72/62 83 mg/DL 171.4lb

After doing the holidy world boss, I went ahead and retrain my warlock's secondary talent to Destruction. I've never done this spec before, but I figure it will have more burst dps than Affliction. And I did manage to finish BWL, which drops stuff my other characters want, but aren't there. At least I have the tools to do it on all my characters. 123/81/72 93 mg/DL 172.2lb

Day 864 - Mists of Pandarian Day 85

I took two of my characters last night through some old world raid instances. My affliction warlock have no problem breezing through Molten Core, but was having tremendous difficulty bursting down the second boss in BWL before it killed me. I may have to look up on how to do that correctly. My rogue breeze through BWL just fine, albeit, the supression room is still painful, even for the rogue that can disarm the traps. 113/81/62 104 mg/DL 171.4lb

Day 863 - Mists of Pandarian Day 84

The Klaxxi daily quests today was a breeze compare to most of the days. For the most part, I should be done with this daily quest hub in about a week. Afterward, I'll probably start doing Serpent Riders again. This time for all of my toons. After doing the dailies, I have a couple of hours left, so I start taking some of my other characters through old world raid as well. As it turns out, some of my characters have never been to Molten Core before, and that requires quit a bit of swimming through lava in Blackrock Depth. Also do to the way the instances changed, once I got attuned, I need to hearth back to my town, and fly back to Blackrock Mountain to get into the raid instance. Blackwing Lair's attunement (Blackrock Spire) does allow you to walk back to the entrance easily. 118/68/54 93 mg/DL 171.6lb

Went to a co-worker's Christmas party last night.  Stonefire Grill tri-tips and chicken.  Guess I overate again.

I'm seeing the light at the end of the Klaxxi reputation grind. That's the last faction that reward gear as part of the grind.  I think I'll start up the Serpent Rider after Klaxxi and Shado-Pan, as all of the characters needs to be exalted with them to ride Cloud Serpent.

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, I managed to get my shadow priest a fairly decent weapon set.  Some of my other tons aren't so lucky.  My Death Knight will have to make her own one handed weapon.

Day 860 - Mists of Pandarian Day 81

My daily schedule goes something like this:

Dianora will find out which temple to go to for the daily August Temple.  All of the rest of the characters will also do those quests.  The order of difficulty of each temple goes from easiest to hardest: North, East, South, West.  The Black Ox's temple is by far the most annoying and hardest to do.  Fortunately, they're right next to Shado-Pan, so I can bring a friendly NPC over.

After that, I'll fire up my spreadsheet and start grinding away Klaxxi, with the character with the lowest reputation points gets first charge.  Since these usually take much longer, I also queue up LFR.  That has work pretty well,  Fidie managed to get some decent gear out of today's raid.

Day 859 - Mists of Pandarian Day 80

Sorry about the late posts.  I finally break down on my financial discipline and bought an epic glove for my monk.  This raises her iLevel up to 460, enough to do LFR.

For now, I'm also choosing and picking on what faction to raise.  I absolutely need to raise everyone to exalted on Klaxxi to get the epic ring.  The August Celestials are relative painless and easy to level, and all of my tailor need exalted to spend their imperial silk.  After I'm done with Klaxxi and August Celestials, I'll go back and finish Shado-Pan and then get started on Serpent Riders so all of them can ride Cloud Serpent.  And lastly, Tillers and Anglers.

Didn't get a whole lot of gaming done yesterday.  After getting home at 8PM from the support meeting, I only have enough time to run everyone through The August Celestials daily quests.  I should have more today.

And I'm done with Golden Lotus faction grind.  Other than getting my Dianora's August Celestials's daily done, I've done nothing other than grind out the last day for Golden Lotus.  At the end of the reputation grind is the epic neck piece that all of my characters can use.  All but my monk can now queue up for LFR, which I'll be doing later this week.  Lets hope that my other characters have learn lessons from my main.

While waiting to go to the doctor's appointment this morning, I decided to go ahead and try out the patch 5.1 old world Raid content.  I was genuinely surprised at how easy most of it was.  The only stickler point is the first encounter in Blackwing Lair, which takes me 2 death to figure out how to do it correctly.  Other than that it was quit simple.  I do have multiple characters to grind through these content once I'm done with reputation grind.  I especially want to get my warlock her Tier 6 gears for looks.

I've been grinding all of the reputation on my alts.  Though it doesn't seems like I need to get to exalted on all of the different factions.  I think only Golden Lotus, Klaxxi give me gears at the end of the grind.

Exalted with Shado-Pan faction.  1 free and good looking Cloud Serpent mount and 3.5k for a 3 different other mount.  The moment was so awesome, I had to take a screenshot.

Sorry for another late post.  I managed to get exalted with Angler and bought the water walking mount that all of my other character will be using.  It would also seem that Dianora can now queue up for Heart of Fear LFR, which I'll be doing later this week.

Got home a bit late today.  Which means I didn't have a whole lot of time to advance my characters.  What I did do is finish up Dianora's Shado-Pan and August Celestials dailies and then run her through her first LFR. The first raid encounter isn't as bad as I fear.  I didn't run her through as a tank, since I don't want to have raid wipe on my conscience just yet.  I also managed to run Malorina through Golden Lotus to get here to Revered.  Xiaolongnü should hit Revered tomorrow.

Thus ends my one week vacation.  Slight improvement weight wise compared to last week.

Since I have the time, I actually managed to run all of my characters (except Dianora) through Golden Lotus.  That and some of the character's secondary dailies managed to use up all of my time.  When the normal week comes around, I won't have time to run everyone through Golden Lotus and I have to pick and choose.
