Perhaps it's because I did the heroic version of Crypt of Forgotten Kings 3 times in 2 days with people uncleared on the concept of trap floor, but my dream last night involved the same trap floor concept.  Perhaps it's time to lay off on heroic a bit?

Thus ends my on-call week.  Today is also the end of raid week.  The remaining toons on deck are hunter (don't need any gears), priest (need lots of gear, but almost no coins), death knight (don't need gears).  Guess I'll concentrate on my priest tonight.

After the running with the some of the most inane weekend LFRers, I managed to put 4 of my toons through Heroic Scenario (too many under geared) and LFR.  I finally got my poor warlock her upgraded offhand.  After that experience, I decided to have some relaxing time doing Mount Hyjal and Black Temple.

And my paladin got her 4 piece Tier 15 bonus.  I'm still trying to figure out what it really means.  This leaves my priest and druid as the only one left that still need tier 15 bonus.  Oh, and my warlock still need an offhand.

And my Death Knight got a weapon upgrade.  This means her current weapon gets recycled into tanking weapon.  And my mage got the critical trinket that's well suited for her fire mage spec.  It isn't all gloom and doom.

The blood donation really took the wind out of me.  That and the fact that I'm not getting quality sleep due to the on-call didn't help.

I've continued to run heroic scenario.  No real improvement of gears.

I'm at a point where I've either have character that ran out of stuff to upgrade from LFR, or the ones where I've ran out of bonus roll coins to roll on.  Tonight, my only character that still have instance that can upgrade her on was the priest.  Naturally she's both out of bonus roll coin and didn't get the drop.

I've also started to concentrate on getting my daily heroic scenario going through.  There are still stuff from there that I can use.

Now that for a lot of my toons who've maxed out on the normal LFR upgrade, Heroic scenario are much better avenue of upgrade.  My DK actually is using 2 pieces of LFR iLevel 516 gears  My poor Shadow Priest is using the boot, and my Druid is using both the boot and shoulder (until we get 4 piece bonus).  My hunter actually can use the shoulder from Heroic scenario, albeit, transmorg into the same Tier 15 look.

I've also spend quit a bit of gold buying pets that I'm too lazy to gather.  Hey, what else am I going to use with that money?

Day 1078 - Mists of Pandarian Day 299

Now that I've started to run heroic scenario, it have occur to me that most of the bad habit I had during the normal scenario need to be unlearned.  This is more like doing the heroic dungeon during the Cataclysm hard.  The iLevel requirement appears to be 470, albeit, most people I see in it have much higher level.

One item that all of my toon could use upgrade is boot, and some of them are getting them.

As it turns out, the initial quest to Heroic Scenario has a guarantee loot bag.  The loot isn't exactly guarantee to be useful for me, as I do have stuff that are better already.  There appears to be a daily limit for the bag that has a chance to drop iLevel 516 epics, which can include weapon.  So I'll be concentrating on doing that for now.

Put 4 characters through LFR today.  Although my shadow priest didn't get anything useful, she did managed to complete her Tier 6 transmogrification set by finishing the Mount Hyjal raid again.  My rogue managed to get both sets of trinket from the troll LFR, and my hunter did finish the first Heroic Scenario.  It's significantly harder, and I went out of my way to do crowd control as I can.  I didn't die once.  The same cannot be said of my party.

I put 5 toons through LFR today.  Once again, nothing useful dropped for me.  One of the toon did the 2 instances where she could have an upgrade, so I ran it 6 times.  Guess the luck isn't with me.

Day 1074 - Mists of Pandarian Day 295

My annual eye exam naturally leave my pupil artificially dilated for a couple of hours.  Reading and working on computer was a bit of a challenge afterward.  But the good news is that my eyes are still good.

Managed to put through 3 toons today on a fresh LFR.  For the toons that basically didn't have any gear upgrade from LFR, I still need to put them through the pace to get their reputation points.   Unfortunately for me, the rogue have to quit the Pinnacle of the Storm (still could've use the upgraded dagger from the first boss there) due to a really bad group.  By contrast, my hunter went through the first LFR with almost no issue.  My mage did managed to get her 4th piece Tier 15 (shoulder) on Pinnacle making her the fifth of my toons to get that.

My warlock got her last piece of Tier 15 (glove) which allows her to switch in a non-tier piece of the current gear level (head).  I'm a bit disappoint with the glove-less look of the warlock Tier 15 look, but I can't really complaint.  My mage also got another boot that's marginally better for her spec, and I bought a cloak for my shadow priest.  Since it's the last day before raid week reset, I didn't had much hope for the raid, getting these gear is a bit suprising.

I got woken up this morning at 1AM.  By the time I actually attempt to go to sleep, it was 4:30PM.  I had to wake up again at 5:30AM again to finish the work.  That's all I'll say about that.  By the time I actually wake up to eat my breakfast, it's already 9:30AM.

I ran my warlock through Black Temple.  I did get the Tier 6 chest piece token, which breaks my loosing streak.  Just to change things up a bit, I ran my Paladin as DPS through LFR today.  This is after going through some of the more cringe worthy LFR group I had in a while.  It's not a good sign when the tank is wearing blue gears.

After attempting to get some sleep from last night's late late work, I was tired all over.  I didn't get a chance to do my morning exercise, opting for just a stroll around Costco for my weekend replenishment run.

On warcraft front, the only thing worthwhile to mention is that my monk actually got her second piece of Tier 15 DPS piece.  It probably only get use when I'm doing dailies.

Thus begins my weekend of less sleep.  I have work tonight starting at 11:30PM.  Try as I may, I just wasn't that into advancing my toons.  The only thing worth noting is that my Death Knight got her second iLevel 502 one handed weapon.  It's fun to have some off-off spec gear, but nothing important.

Day 1069 - Mists of Pandarian Day 290

While I had hope to get extra sleep today, the on-call had other ideas.  Due to the work, I had to let my brother get his treadmill workout done first.  While waiting for that equipment to be free up, I took my shadow priest through Mount Hyjal raid.  Learning from the mistake of my warlock, I finished up my instance rather quickly.  There are 2 bosses that drops tier 6 tokens.  out of the 12 tokens dropped, my two toons got zero useable ones.  Such is the roll.  I think I'll take my druid through this instance for an updated transmogrification  set.  I already own a tier 6 for my paladin.  The tier 6 for rogue and hunter aren't an improvement over tier 5.  So the only ones I probably want to farm for is shadow priest, warlock and druid.

Day 1068 - Mists of Pandarian Day 289

Due to traffic and other things, I only managed to put 3 of my toons through LFR today.  In one case, I had to requeue my shadow priest twice just to get a full run of Pinnacle of Storm.  While I didn't get the shoulder token I wanted, I did managed to get both off hand that drop from that LFR.

In between queueing for LFR, I managed to run the Mount Hyjal raid instance from Burning Crusade.  It was much much easier than I anticipated.  My only hiccup came from the Horde camp when I didn't realize that a good chunk of the trash mob are flying units that came in on the back of the camp.  Lesson learned.

After one month of hiatus, the surgical support group have their monthly meeting.  Unfortunately for me, I'm on-call again.  This also means that I'm unlikely to put too many of my toons through LFR today.  Such is my schedule.

I got home late due to various reason.  I've already tapped out at the LFR instances where I can reasonably get upgrade for most of my toons.  So I opted to take the night easy.  I only ran my druid through LFR, and as to be expected from Monday night LFR, really bad.  The tank don't know what they're doing, the raid didn't know what they're doing.  We spend twice as much time as it needs to do things right.

 Well, tomorrow is another day.

I put 6 of my toons through various variation of LFR and scenario.  Other than my mage getting a non-set piece to replace the previous level of gear, nothing really worth mentioning.

Yesterday during my shadow priest's rump through her LFR (Hall of Flesh Shaping), I spilt ice tea over my keyboard.  The keyboard quickly became inoperable, and I was force to go back to the office to get my spare one.  The new keyboard definitely work much better.  Not that I actually look at keyboard when I type, but it's kind of nice to have letter on the keys.

As of this writing, I've put 2 toons through LFR.  They really don't need gear from there, but they do need the reputation, slow as I'm gaining them on all of the toons.  Well, back to the grind.

I send 4 toons through LFR today.  Only thing worth mentioning is the new trinket the moonkin got.  It's does force quit a bit of gear change when I go to use it.  Still stucked at 3 piece Tier 15 set though.

For a change, I went to Noodle King for lunch today and have their standard Spicy Beef Noodle, which is a fairly standard street food you can find in Taiwan.  The picture I took isn't the best (I really need to steady my phone a bit before taking the picture).  I get it mainly for the chunky stewed beef and the spicy broth.  It's a pretty safe dish for non-Taiwanese American.

Day 1062 - Mists of Pandarian Day 283

Due to the fact that I had to go to my uncle's house for the 4th of July for the firework show, I had to cut short my gaming today.  Still managed to get quit a few things done.  Both the Paladin and Warlock went through their LFR without much to show for other than reputation.  My rogue did get her second set of dagger which dramatically improved her damage capability.  On her way out, there was a call for Nalak raid on the Isle of Thunder.  The rogue have already had her shot at the dragon, but my Death Knight could use some of the possible drop.  Sure enough, I spend the bonus coin on the bonus drop, and got the 4th tier set piece.  The 4th character with 4 piece bonus.

The firework show this year differs in two ways.  The house is finish and inhabited.  There's actually furniture in the house and I remember to bring a jacket this time, remember how cold it was last year.  That was the good news.  The bad news is that there was a very thick layer of fog that blocked all of the view.

As of this writing, I've put 3 of my toons through LFR.  Nothing from there, though my mage did managed to get her 3rd Tier 15 piece from Nalak, her second iLevel 522 piece from that toon.  I also rectified the transmogrification holes that Nodame has by buying the matching season 2 belt and boots to complete the look.  I should be able to do the same thing with my warlock and priest.

Finally got a good night sleep.  According to my fitbit device, I did suffered some toss and turning 10 times, and I distinctly remember looking at the clock at 3AM.  Still it's much better than the previous night when the air conditioner decided not to work.

After 2 days of no morning exercise, I went back on the treadmill again.  It's good to do this again.

Now that most of my characters have done 3 LFR for the week (this is my all time record), I think I'm going to have to try to get my PVP quests done.  Thus far I've ran it 4 times.  Lost every single times.
