On our guild off raid night, I brought the rogue and mage in to get some gear. The rogue got a heroic non-tier headpiece that's not optimized for the spec as well as a heroic warforged dagger. It's a straight up upgrade, after the valor point upgrade. Unfortunately the rogue does not have the valor point yet.
The mage got a non-tier chest piece that's also not a upgrade.
