I tried to get my rogue through Throne of Thunder mount farming rotation.  I simply cannot out heal the damage I was receiving fast enough.  Oh well, at least I have 4 other toons that can farm this instance.

Still no mount after going through my DS/Ulduar/ICC mount farming rotation.  Just for completeness sake, my Paladin is now the raid lockout holder for Deathwing again, in case someone else want to borrow that instance.

Day 2016 - Warlords of Draenor Day 467

Well, another mount shows up in the Black Market Auction House.  For once, it's not during raid night, so I have time to actually babysit the auction.  For the most part, the auction was sitting at 150k range.  At the last 30 minutes, some one is determined to make me spend more money on it than its price at the time.  In all, I bought Reins of the Vitreous Stone Drake for 326k.

I didn't farm this instance as much as I have Vortex Pinnacle, but I welcome it none the less.

I had somewhat ok night of raiding with my Shadow Priest.  I did managed to get the heroic version of tier glove, an upgrade from normal version.  I also won the heroic tier chest and an non-tier head piece from Archimonde.  Didn't get the class trinket I was hoping for.

We spend the night working on Gorefiend.  A good solid 2 hours on him.  One of our regular tank was unable to make the raid, so we lost one of our top DPS to substitute for him.  We probably could use that DPS.

Our best attempt is a 7% wipe on second to the last attempt of the night.  We should get him next week.  Here's a video of that attempt:

Day 2013 - Warlords of Draenor Day 464

Overcoming our recent raid attendance issues (and we have been on a recruiting run), we got ALL of our farmed content Mythic raid done in one day.  That leaves just 5 bosses left that we haven't defeated.  Our big stumbling point is Gorefiend.  This week we will have 1 whole raid day to work on him.

I also brought in my paladin for 3 lower HFC bosses.  I'm one boss away from triggering Mythic cache mission from shipyard.  Oh well, in another 2 weeks.

I realized that I actually haven't done my weekly farm of Lord Kazzak.  Now, he really doesn't give me any more upgrade gears, but he's still a good steady source of Fel Blight.

Day 2009 - Warlords of Draenor Day 460

Now that the Valentine holiday event is in full swing, I have place that on the top of my priority list.  I have 5 tanks and one additional character (Shadow Priest) that can heal which means I have 4 characters with long queue time to get into the holiday instance.  I dust off Zul'Gurub from the mothball and decided to run there in between waiting for the instance queue.  Of course, I haven't gotten any mount yet.

I brought in my warlock for the off night gearing run through heroic HFC.  This time I brush off my Destruction spec for the most part.  It was a very good night as I got 3 piece of tier gear plus 2 more side piece (belt and wrist).  Not sure who I'm bringing in next week.

We spend the night working on Fel-Lord Zakun again and we got him down.  Ending the night with Shadow Lord once more.  Didn't get any gear.

I went ahead and knock out all but the last remaining Pandaria dungeon achievement.  The last one is going to be difficult.

First thing I did today is to re-enable the DS25 Deathwing lockout on Justia just so I can crank out the last remaining Dragon Soul raid achievement.  And it took me longer to get there than the actual achievement itself.  Now I have all 3 color variation of Alexstrasza look-alike mount.

I was a bit late for the guild raid, so I sat out Socrethar.  Good thing I don't need anything from him.  It took the rest of the raid time to down Fel Lord Zakum.  I didn't get anything from him yet.

I end the night finishing up the Stormstout Brewery achievement on 2 characters (Paladin and Death Knight) and Shado-Pan Monastery on Death Knight.  I now have Mogu'shan Palace final boss achievement which I might have to borrow one guild member to help out.  2 different Scarlet Monastery achievement, one Siege of Niuzao Temple and 2 Scholomance achievement, the last one being especially annoying.  I'll probably knock that one first on my hunter.

Day 2005 - Warlords of Draenor Day 456

I tried to get my mage through some of the heroic HFC.  I really should consider getting her into the instances a bit earlier in the week as the group I go with literally cannot get past the second boss.

I also tried to finished up the meta achievement for Pandaria dungeon.  All 3 achievement are in Stormstout Brewery.  I tried two and failed both of them.  I'll give them another shot later as I can only do them once a day.

While I wasn't successful at farming the raid instance mount, The Reins of the Thundering Cobalt Cloud Serpent did show up in the Black Market Auction House.  Getting the bid into the BMAH is a wee bit of an issue as Horde players decided to farm honor there.  After getting killed too many times, I decided to go back into tanking spec and had much more success at staying alive.  The mount cost me about 516K gold, but a mount is a mount.  Here's what it looks like outside the place where we normally farm the mount:

I decided not to bring the Monk to the off night heroics, instead bringing the warlock over.  She got 2 nice dps staff, which greatly boosted her dps as well as 1 heroic token.  Good enough for the night.

Finishing up the raid, I brought the druid in to dps the last 2 bosses.  I didn't get the heroic version of the class trinket, but I did get the best in slot dps staff.

We finished up the week's worth of Mythic with the remaining boss that was on farm.  We did try to finish up Ishkar again, but with the recent turnover and the fact we haven't seen him in a couple of weeks, we didn't get him down.

Day 1999 - Warlords of Draenor Day 450

We spend the majority of time on finishing up Fel Lord Zakun.  After weeks of practice, we finally got him down.  Didn't get any useful loots.  As usual, we started the night on Socrethar, which is now considered farmed content.  He does have some really nice drops including tier gloves.

We ended the night by trying Shadow Lord, a boss we've only killed once.  Alas, we ran out of time, and many of the raiders have actually never seen this boss as this is not an easy encounter.

It would appear that I will be finishing Dragon Soul achievement run next week as I got the  Alexstrasza leg of the Chromatic Champion achievement down.  Only Kalecgos remain and that's actually the second easiest one to do as a level 100.  Twilight Harbinger should be mine next week.

Oh while finishing the Alexstrasza leg of the achievement, another Blazing Drake dropped for me...

I realize that for this year's Lunar Festival event, I can actually pick up quit a few engineering patterns as well as other toys.  So I went ahead and get paladin (who needs engineering designs) and mage to go through all of the elder coin farming.  Perhaps I should check back and see what else I can get in terms of tailor patterns.

The streak is over.  I didn't get a mount this week.  After I expanded my mount run to include Throne of Thunder, I realized a couple of things.  Throne of Thunder's second boss requires a bit more self survival than my best DPS (Hunter) can achieve.  As such, only my 4 remaining tanking characters can actually run the place.  No mount.

I signed up my monk again to my guild's CoreB/Alt raid night.  In 3 hours, we got all but Fel-Lord down.  I have to leave my monk and get on a better dps toon to get Archimonde, but I did get my druid her moose mount just the same.  And of course, being the druid, the task of getting to Nighthaven is just a wee bit faster with druid only port there directly.  In all, I'm just missing a glove/chest piece to complete 4 piece bonus.  I got head and shoulder piece as well as another headpiece and boot out of the raid.  I will not get the ring this week, but should get it next week.

I also got the farmer that needs Experiment 12-B down, so this weekend, I'll just be doing Ulduar/ICC farming.

Day 1993 - Warlords of Draenor Day 444

On our first night of raiding, we did Socrethar as usual and finish up to Kormrok as usual.  We came back on the second night and finish the lower instances and spend 2 quality hour of learning Mythic Fel Lord Zakuun.  Our best attempt is 4%.  With more practice, we should be able to down him soonish.  Too bad he has no gears I need.

New night of raid and we got a portal to the upper citadel again.  Since I got the Mythic Archimonde glove drop off of the bi-weekly shipyard mission, my need for the tier piece from Socrethar is lessen.  Still I try to bonus roll for the bracer...  And comes up empty.

After the raid night ended, we run a quickie mostly Guild member run of Mannoroth/Archimonde run.  With mostly Mythic geared character, the run ran very smoothly.  I brought my rogue in to get both her moose mount as well as some gear.  End up with the heroic version of the class trinket which will significantly increase her dps.

Day 1991 - Warlords of Draenor Day 442

This week, the guild didn't try doing Mythic Blackrock Foundry so I have the night to myself.  I end up running Zul'Gurub on all of my toons to try get the remaining mount.  Of course the mount didn't drop.  I also continue to work on fishing daily.

I did 2 Time Walker on 2 of my tanks and doing 5 TW dungeons on my Shadow Priest who is short on the bonus roll.  Finally I got around and try one TW dungeon on the rogue to test out the Legendary dagger from Cataclysm.

Day 1990 - Warlords of Draenor Day 441

Since I'm done with Heroic Dragon Soul, it's time to shift to the last drop mount of the instance, and I can get it on normal difficulty.  So I got my Death Knight to cleared up to Ultraxion, the 5th boss.  The first 4 boss aren't that difficult, I just like to get it out of the way.  Ultraxion drops Experiment 12-B, a chromatic drake.  A mount is a mount.

In the meantime, Dianora, the Paladin is short 4 achievement, the first 2 are from boss 2 and 3.  They're actually significantly more difficult than I anticipated since I don't want to accidentally kill the boss without finish the achievement.  I end up dying a couple of times to finish up Ping Pong Champion.  Taste the Rainbow is even worse, as I have to manually track the progression myself as the in-game tracker is broken.  Surprisingly enough, the one achievement I thought I would have problem with Maybe He'll Get Dizzy... is far less troublesome than it turns out.  I just have to get the achievement portion done and just finish up the boss kill the normal way.

Unfortunately it still be another 3 weeks before I'm done with the achievement.  I utterly failed at the last achievement.  Just so I don't have to waste time on doing Spine of Deathwing, I got my warrior to get that out of the way, so next week, my Paladin will only have to do Deathwing himself.

And I finished up the night by getting my warlock through Mannoroth and Archimonde.  Didn't get the tier chest piece, but did get the class trinket.  I have no idea how good it is.  Time for experiments later.
