After the exhausting mount collection run of the previous day, I decided to go ahead and finished up as many of the battle pet.  I had to turn off rarescanner mod as it was more distracting than helpful.  The final pet for the Shadowlands Safari is the rather elusive Lost Soul in Revendreth that one took much longer.

Day 3484 - Shadowlands Day 5

5 days into the expansion and I've picked up 6 mounts.  Albeit, they're done on Wednesday and Friday night.  All but one of them came from Ardenweald.  The first one is the Arboreal Gulper which is being actively farmed, so when I got to the spawn point, someone have already spawned him and I was able to get this 100% drop mount.  Next up, I spend a bit of time getting Wildseed Cradle, the cradle that carries Wildseed, and now my Paladin by finishing a small puzzle quest.  Finally Shimmermist Runner from finishing a maze in the correct order.

At the end of last night's questing, I decided to give some other mounts a shot.  First up is the Spinemaw Gladechewer.  I had naively tried to farm this solo and give up after a while and join a farming raid group.  After about 10 minutes of rolling around, we got the mob to spawn and another 100% drop.  Next up is the Swift Gloomhoof, which requires a bit more work on my end due to skipping all but the main story quest in Ardenweald.  I jump to the far western end of the zone to get the starter quest token, but I couldn't get the NPC in the right location to spawn without doing 2 seperate chain of side quests.  That took more time than the rest of the effort.  After I picked up the item that places me in the same phase as Night Mare I got almost one shotted by the mob as it has 700k health.  Switching to protection spec didn't help as I could out heal the mob, but the buff expired after 5 minutes.  I formed a group and was able to 3 man it and got the mount.  Before I stop for the night, I went back to my Covenant and completed the Anama Conduit upgrade.  I selected the one that would spawn a new mob, not knowing exactly what it will bring.  By the time I got there, someone have already spawn the mob and Horrid Dreadwing is mine.  This is the only none 100% mount drop I got this expansion.

Day 3483 - Shadowlands Day 4

I was wondering where the new Emissary quest (Calling) were now that I've hit 60.  As it turns out, I needs to advance the story quest a bit more into Torghast a bit more to get that made available.  Once I got that done, I got the Calling to 3 seperate zones.

I've geared enough to get my iLevel past 155, which means I can queue for Heroic.  I'm now just queueing for Heroic while doing world quest or other things.  I end the night at 162.

Day 3482 - Shadowlands Day 3

I got to level 60 in the middle of the 3rd chapter of Ravendredth.  After that, I have to finished up the rest of the story quest to get to choose a Covenant.  I only replace 3 pieces of gear up to this point, which means I really needs to catch up on gearing up.  I did pick up 3 mounts from Ardenweald one of them was a simple puzzle piece, while the other is located at the end of a maze.  The maze was populated with elite World Quest mobs so I died quite a few times getting there.

Day 3481 - Shadowlands Day 2

I got the Paladin at about 59.5, and I'm only on the 3rd storyline hub of Ravendredth.  I guess I'll be spending most of Ravendredth as level 60 and I'll need to complete the story quest just to join a Covenant.  I spend way too much time on launch day, so I'm taking it easier on day 2.

Day 3480 - Shadowlands Day 1

Shadowlands launch more or less with my expectation.  I login a bit early and park in front of the quest portal.  There were a lot of other people with the same idea.  But once I got in, it went relatively smoothly.  By the time I got to Orobus, I was nearly level 51.  I finished up Bastion at level 64 and I'm almost at 57 by the time I left Maldraxxus on my way to Ardenweald.  It was quite a bit of a shock losing 15% of my with just the removal of Hearth of Azeroth and disabling of the Azerite gears, nevermind the Essence.  Right now the only gears I've replace are my lowest iLevel gear, trinket.  I sense that my neck and cloak will see me all the way to the max level of 60.

I spend the last full day of BFA running around in Icecrown camping rares with the Bank Alt and gearing her up.  She ended the day with iLevel of about 100.  I also send as many people through Tomb of Sargeras and Antorus as I can for transmog.  Didn't get many pieces.

With 2 days left of this expansion, I decided to go ahead and leveled up the characters that's closed to current max level.  That means Nightborne Warlock, Undead Monk and my guild bank alt Void Elf Warlock.  I managed to get their level up a bit with Nathanos world quest.  Unfortunately both of the Horde newbies got one handed weapon, while my VE Warlock got a two hander.  Beggars can't be chooser though.

I managed to get the Priest's Tomb of Sargeras set done via a purchase from the Auction House.  I also did the Antorus on the Paladin, with very limited success.  I had to take over the raid as some of them are unclear on the concept.  Still nothing.

Day 3476 - Battle for Azeroth Day 774

Due to some error on Blizzard's part, Dunegorger Kraulok wasn't dropping mount Mollie.  They've hotfix it and reset the weekly counter.  I was able to get it on my 10th re-kill of the day.  Here's the Lightforge Draenei on Mollie with the boss behind her.  Total attempts minus the 24 runs from Wednesday when it was bugged is 118.

I ran a couple of characters through Legion raids to pick up missing pieces.  I was able to complete the Druid Nighthold set.  The Priest Antorus set will need a bit of luck.

The reset day came, and the server came up earlier than advertised.  The scourge invasion is now in full force and it's a bit of pain getting anything done.  I've given up on doing any of the new quests on the older characters who don't need gears, concentrating on getting the full sets of transmog from the vendor.  I should also go and pick up more pets before they're totally gone.

I managed to get all of my level 50 characters their 2nd shot at the iLevel 115 weapon.  This is made even harder by some people who became zombie while infecting as many people as possible.

The internet went out for 7 hours during the entire morning.  I of course didn't get anything done.  

The emissary is once again 2k gold, this time in Najatar, but first I have to complete the Icecrown quest for the prelaunch event.  This unlocks more dailies for the rest of my characters.

Day 3472 - Battle for Azeroth Day 770

The daily emissary is for 2K gold.  Unfortunately there's no handy portal to the Warfront zone, so I have to lug all 21 level 50 characters to Nazmir to do most of the quest.

I've also figure out how to get characters that didn't do Legion content to go to Argus for the sole purpose of getting to Antorus raid instance.  It's much shorter than I remember it.

Since my Dark Iron Paladin is already level 32, I thought it might be worthwhile to level the character and have another shot at Antorus transmog.  The process took less time than I anticipate and by the end of the night, (after I finish running Antorus) and running around doing the gearing up, the Emissary Quest now rewards iLevel 99 and my character is at iLevel 91.37 equipped.  We got to thank the catchup gears.

The emissary is for iLevel 99 weapon.  While I've already gotten 115 weapons from the limited time world quest, this helps out on some of my other specs for the 5 new characters.  I also ran them through both invasions to get quest tokens for the Horrific Visions.

I've started to farm Bronjahm for his 34 slot bag.  Bag space is bag space.

Day 3468 - Battle for Azeroth Day 766

While the pre-patch event is active, I'm going to go and stack up on the new limited time battle pet as much as possible.  This means doing the dailies and the rares.  I've also started to look at the new version of the haunted memento price, which have dropped down to 70k.  I'll probably want to pick up as many of those as possible.

The 2 week long pre-patch event starts.  There's also a weekly world quest that rewards iLevel 115 weapon, which the majority of my characters could use.  Some of the new dailies are rather time consuming.  And the new rare rotation is a bit of a chore to farm for questionable gear.

On the last day of pre-pre-patch day, I went ahead and practice how to heal on the Mechagnome Shadow Priest.  It went mostly well.  The next day will bring the pre-patch event in Icecrown and plague events in the capital cities.  I'll probably do them first on the main character and any other characters that needs catch up gears.

Day 3465 - Battle for Azeroth Day 763

After going through most of Drustvar for the 40-50 run, the Mechagnome Shadow Priest hit the current max level.  I was able to get the iLevel up to 91.50 with 94.56 being the maximum available.  This involved roughly 7 hours of doing all of the 8.2/8.3 contents.  I even spend time on Mechagon Island in hope that the punch card trinket would help (it didn't).  Still doing everything correctly winds up not costing me as much as I fear.  Playing a class with heal also help, as this past week's event is the 4 Mythic dungeon for Heroic raid gear.  I was able to get a trinket from that.  Afterward, I also use Mythic dungeon to gear up the character further via emissary and Assault.  One thing I was keen on testing out is the Mythic Tol Dagor where there are sections of the instance where you can bypass with lock picking.  Mechagnome has build in lock picking and I was able to get the group to bypass that.

I finished off the emissary quests for the 4 new characters and I just started leveling a Mechagnome Priest.  After about 10 hours of play, she's now at level 44 and I've moved her from Broken Isles to BFA.

The emissary is Najatar factions.  I decided to do the weekly event instead, the 4 Mythic dungeons.  I got the Hunter through her runs to get an melee specific trinket that's rather useless for Beast Master spec.  I did finish 3/4 of the weekly for the Death Knight.  She'll finish those the next day.

Blizzard released a new battle pet quest chain to get the pat Glimr.  Unfortunately too many people with nothing better to do but to grief those of us that actually wants the pet by parking very large mount over the quest object.  I managed to hop onto a druid and finished the quest.  It's a very cute murloc.

One week after hitting current max level, the Death Knight is now near the old iLevel of 445, or current level 100.
