Day 1627 - Warlords of Draenor Day 78

Spend the night leveling warlock, my 2 remaining level 99.  When I got through the leveling process, I was able to get onto LFR and get 3 pieces of gear as well as all of token I've saved up.  I also finished up the heroic dungeon portion of chapter 1 of the legendary quest on both the warlock and mage.

Day 1626 - Warlords of Draenor Day 77

The raid didn't happen as the guild/raid leader was sick.  We're rescheduling it for next day, and hopefully we'll get it done.

While waiting for all of that, I continue to do the daily apex crystal quest as well as finishing up the remaining heroic dungeon quest.  Since I got quit a few Inn quest for Upper Blackrock Spire, I also queue that.  The group could not do the Leeroy event as we didn't have enough dps.

Oddly enough, I already got a quest to do Highmaul mission for my follower and got a good trinket out of it.

Day 1625 - Warlords of Draenor Day 76

On the non-raiding day, I decided to level up the mage to level 100.  Took a better part of 3 hours, but I did managed to get that last level done.  Lots of gears to be made after level 100, and I immediately queue up for heroic dungeon instances to get the quests done.

I was able to get LFR done.  Surprisingly enough, the LFR queue time is better than heroic.  So while waiting for heroic dungeon queue to pop up, I ran the daily quest to get the apex crystal part done.

Day 1624 - Warlords of Draenor Day 75

First day of the raid week.  We didn't even bother trying the last boss.  What we did try to do is to gear everyone as mucha s we could.  Since I'm kind of maxed out on my paladin, I brought my Death Knight in.  I probably should gem end enchant her gears as she's still rather fragile.  Got 2 pieces of gear out of it.

Ran a couple of daily apex crystal quests on my current level 100 characters to get their first chapter of Legendary quests done.  Now I have 3 more characters to get to level 100 and geared up.

Ran the druid, monk and rogue through LFR.  I realized that most of them actually don't need gears from LFR, and in the coming week, the only reason I'll be running them is to get the legendary quest token.  Of which I got 30 out of 125 for my druid on the first week.  The rest of my 100 should be getting their start on this tier soon.

It's strange that with all of my new level 100, I managed to get through LFR before doing the rest of the heroic dungeons.  But with the conclusion of all of the heroic dungeon section of the legendary quest, the next blocking point is the Apex crystal which requires daily quest run.  So I now have to run 4 characters through both their weekly garrison mission as well as the daily apex quest.  At least it usually takes 5 days, if I don't skip.

Day 1620 - Warlords of Draenor Day 71

For my off night, I decided to push ahead on my hunter and level her up to level 100.  By the time I got the leveling done, I got a whole bunch of armor and weapon token around.  I also managed to run through LFR and got a bunch of non-token pieces.  At the end of the day, I got only 3 pieces of non-epic piece.  Of which I can replace one quickly (the hunter is a leather worker which can make the leg piece and head pieces).

One thing I have to figure out is the play style.  Of the dungeons that I ran, I quickly realized that in group play, I'll usually fall back to the survival hunter spec with Lone Wolf talent.  While waiting for raid and dungeon queue, I farm for leather in Nagrand as Beast Master.  It works rather well.

I started at Level 100 with 10k Garrison resources.  After I'm done upgrading everything, she's down to 2k resources.  This gives my remaining 3 characters that still needs leveling.

Day 1619 - Warlords of Draenor Day 70

The usual tank still did not show up again, I guess we're going to get another one.  Not my problem.  The substitute tank actually got a lot of gears from the heroic raid run.  We managed to get all the way up to the final boss in Heroic difficulty.  I didn't get anything from there.

I also finished the chapter 2 of the legendary ring quest.  Both tanking and dps ring are now up to iLevel 690 with a strength proc.  Interesting prospect on the rings.

I went back to the dentist again.  The visit is hurts me both physically and financially.  Guess I'll have to take better care of myself.

On the off raid night, I put my warrior through LFR, and she has a rather productive night.  2 trinket (tanking and dps) and a shield.  A good night, loot wise.

Raid night.  The usual other tank didn't show up for the normal Highmaul, so we have to pug that one.  I still didn't get the trinket I was farming for (I set up the wrong spec) but I did get a different trinket.

Since I got my druid through her proving ground challenge, I also went after it with my monk tank.  Really different style of tanking, and I haven't really spend much time tanking on that toon.  Still, got it done.

Afterward, I spend some time running the initial 3 heroic dungeons.  I did not managed to get Croman quest done in one of the dungeon, but consider how poorly the healer performed in that instance, I'm lucky to get out of there with those wipes.

I haven't got to the final heroic dungeon yet, but I did have time to try out my warrior to get her through Silver tanking.  After 4 attempts, that's done as well.

I only have time to do my weekly appointment with Lich King on Heroic 25.  Still no mount.

Finally got my druid tank to Silver tanking proving ground achievement.  This means she can now queue up for heroic dungeons.  Since most of her gear are of LFR quality, what I need from it is the 2 legendary quest rings from the 4 heroic dungeons.  Thankfully I've already done the Apexis crystal part of that quest.  Something that my rogue haven't done yet.

My experiment with the large Garrison Building: Stables is now over.  After getting all 6 of the train mount, and upgrading the building up to level 3, the rogue go out with two quest item in her bag and re-did the quest mob once more.  After 8 of those mounts acquired, I have no more use for the building.  Unfortunately for me, trying to rebuild the Barracks up to level 3 is a wee bit tough, as she's out of Garrison Resource.  Well, we'll have to wait.

My Druid got her chance to go through the LFR.  She got an slightly upgraded (socked) bracer and a new necklace.  Later on, she also got a weapon that's usable for both her current spec (Feral and Guardian).  I know that Balance Druid is supposed to be the king of AoE in raid right now, but I just want to share as much gear between spec as I can.

Second raid night of the week.  Like last week, we're doing Highmaul heroic.  This time, we got our Strategy down a bit better and got through Butcher with relative ease.  I got 4 pieces of heroic gears out of the place for one night, normal loot and bonus roll.  Overall a good night.

Ran the Rogue through LFR.  She actually did quit well there, with 4 pieces of gear, including a warforged dagger that's the main hand.  Later, she also got a warfoged normal ring from the follower Highmaul mission.  She's now at iLevel 638.

Got the full clear of normal again.  Once again, we have to call in help on the last boss to get it through.  I got one piece of loot from boss drop and one off from bonus roll.

I tried to farm elites with the rogue for my barn missions.  She's not quit ready to do that on a regular basis.  Guess I'm stucked with my tanking characters doing the barn missions for now.

For some reason I cannot get pass the gatekeeper boss in Fireland 25 man heroic this week on my paladin.  This despite the fact that I'm far better geared this week than last week.  Oh well, there is next week.

Day 1609 - Warlords of Draenor Day 60

Got the rogue to level 100, and spend the next 10 minutes converting various armor/weapon token into actual gears.  By the time I was done, I was more than geared enough to go into LFR.  I was even selecting the level 100 talent as I was in the instance about to pull the mobs.  This is the rogue, Malorina.  Unfortunately, none of my other toons are going to be as well geared.

Spend all of the morning and a good chunk of the afternoon out of the house getting the car service.  150k.  It has been 10 years, and this car have been through a lot of thing with me.  Finishing up the leveling of my non-100 toons up to the Burning Blade questline in Nagrand, all but my rogue.  This is just to pick up a follower with mining ability.

Raid night #2 of the week.  Since we've already cleared the normal instance, it's time to do heroic.  We're still not up to full strength yet, so we have to use pick up members.  Still, we got through the first boss with no issue.  The Butcher turns out to be the second hardest boss of the instance.  After 2 wipe on him, we skip him and moved onto Twins.  With that done, we finish for the night.

I realized that as I switch over from lumber yard (for garrison resource generation) to barnes (for savage blood generation) that I'm going to need a skinner to maximize its production.  Instead of using inn to get a skinner, I should've just head out to Nagarand and get Goldmane the Skinner.  Truth be told that's not that hard of a follower to get.  I didn't have to do this on my main character, as she already have a follower with skinning trait.  I may just pick him up for completeness sake.  My other 4 level 100 toons all got their Goldmane and ready for when they convert their lumber yard to barn.

On a non-guild raiding night, I send my druid through the LFR.  It was a wee bit painful as I end up tanking part of the raid, since some of the tanks are unclear on the concept of the fight.  I got a chest and leg piece out of the effort, bringing the gear level up to 640.  I still have not pass the silver tanking in proving ground, but I should be soon enough.

On the raid week reset, we finally got the whole instance done.  Now I have a couple of more quest token to go and I should be finish with the first leg of the epic ring quest done.  Rolled 4 bonus roll and got 1 BoE glove that I actually used.  Beats getting nothing.

On the last day of the raid week, I finished up Heroic 25 Firelands.  Previously, I was stucked on the firebird boss.  This time, I decided to wait until the boss is airborne and then chase after her.  Worked out better.  The gatekeeper boss killed me on DPS spec, and was an utter joke in tanking spec.  I went ahead and try the same thing in the next boss.  Didn't have any issue with the final boss.  Still no two handed hammer.

I also queue up a bunch of barn work order material for the druid, who's going to try to push up the barn production so I can start making savage blood for various professions.

Day 1602 - Warlords of Draenor Day 53

After sending my Paladin through her iteration of LFR, she's finally epically geared on all of her slots (last slot is shoulder).  I then takes her out to try heroic 25 man Firelands.  The first boss killed her twice before I read up on the mechanics and switch over to protection spec which makes the fight trivial.  The rest of the instance goes quickly until I got to the firebird boss.  The boss just keep on resetting herself and I haven't got a clue on why it's doing that.  Perhaps if I'll give it another shot before the raid reset.

Forgot to mention that when my druid did LFR Highmaul, I switched the DPS spec from Balance to Feral.  Feral druid share more gears with Guardian spec than the spell caster one.  I basically use the LFR Highmaul to learn how to DPS.  I still need more work.

I resumed my leveling again, and putting all of the sub 100 characters through the initial part of Spires of Arak.  I need to do the initial quest hub, Admiral Taylor and at least the goblin quest hub (for the salvage yard plan).  I kind of messed up with my mage selecting the wrong outpost building.  It's not a deal breaker, but I cannot fix it until much much later.   I'll just have to live with that.\

We had our combined birthday meal yesterday at Asakasa restaurant this year again.  And as usual, the meal is wonderful.  It's a very long drive to get this food, but well worth it.

Our Highmaul raid was an utter disaster.  People didn't show up, and those that did, some of them are rather insistent on goofing off.  So much so that the raid leader rage quit the raid and we have to substitute with pick up member.  We did get somewhat further than before, but not enough.  Just a night of repair bill.
